Miller Spaces and Spherical Resolvability of Finite Complexes
We show that if K is a nilpotent finite complex, then ΩK can be built from spheres using fibrations and homotopy (inverse) limits. This is applied to show that if map∗(X,S ) is weakly contractible for all n, then map ∗ (X,K) is weakly contractible for any nilpotent finite complex K . متن کاملFinite Spaces and Simplicial Complexes
Finite simplicial complexes provide a general class of spaces that is sufficient for most purposes of basic algebraic topology. There are more general classes of spaces, in particular the finite CW complexes, that are more central to the modern development of the subject, but they give exactly the same collection of homotopy types. The relevant background on simplicial complexes will be recalle...

متن کاملsome properties of fuzzy hilbert spaces and norm of operators
in this thesis, at first we investigate the bounded inverse theorem on fuzzy normed linear spaces and study the set of all compact operators on these spaces. then we introduce the notions of fuzzy boundedness and investigate a new norm operators and the relationship between continuity and boundedness. and, we show that the space of all fuzzy bounded operators is complete. finally, we define...
15 صفحه اولKustin–Miller unprojection without complexes
Gorenstein projection plays a key role in birational geometry; the typical example is the linear projection of a del Pezzo surface of degree d to one of degree d− 1, but variations on the same idea provide many of the classical and modern birational links between Fano 3-folds. The inverse operation is the Kustin–Miller unprojection theorem, which constructs “more complicated” Gorenstein rings s...
